FAQ

 Making a Purchase

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PLACE CHRISTMAS ORDERS BY THE 15TH DECEMBER 2023.

In choosing a piece, be careful to click on all the drop-down arrows to show all the various options on every item.

It is always a good idea to contact me to check stock as I make all these pieces individually. If in stock I can send it to you almost immediately but if not I will make it for you within 1-6 weeks depending on the details involved and my show schedules.

Please do contact me to arrange a day that suits you for its arrival as all orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This means it is insured and guaranteed for Next Day Delivery but will require your signature on arrival. If you are not in, the postman will leave a card, probably advising you to collect it from your local post office the next day.

Posting and Packing

Delivery is free for all items over £150 within the UK. Enter the code FREEDELIVERY at the checkout.

Outside of the UK you will need to contact me so I can make specific enquiries.

Each Item is packaged in a beautiful white box with gold lettering of my details and made safe for the journey. A gift bag is also available on request.

Sizing

Please make contact with me if you are unsure. It is always better to get a feel for your requirements and discuss options.

  • Necklaces : The S clasps, being interchangeable in size, usually ensures the exact length you want. Sometimes two are required for extra length which is specified in the description. In this case the second one is free with a ring in between so they lie flat.

  • Otherwise you can purchase second clasp for a charge of £18 to give variety for different necklines. Do contact me.

  • Sometimes a necklace is too long, even with a smaller clasp. do contact me before ordering. I will re string it for you for free to your requirements before sending if this is requested before posting. Otherwise you must pay £9 to cover Royal Mail Special Delivery costs for returning the necklace for restringing by cheque, bank transfer or Mail Order payment over the phone.

  • Rings and Bangles : If the ring does not fit, I will adjust it for you free of charge once only if you return it within 14 days. After that I will have to charge £9 to cover Royal Mail Special Delivery costs again.

  • Earrings : These are not refundable for reasons of hygiene.

Please note that any returns must come back via a fully insured delivery service. I, Simone Micallef, am not responsible for delivery costs of any returns or lost or damaged jewellery while in transit.

Returns

  • If for any reason you are not pleased with your new jewellery purchase from me, it can be returned within 14 days of purchase, providing it is unworn and in its original packaging.

  • All items must be returned via a fully insured delivery service . I, Simone Micallef, am not responsible for the delivery costs of returned items or for lost or damaged items while in transit.

  • Please contact me to discuss if you wish to return or exchange the item within 14 days of purchase - simone@simonemicallef.com.

  • If the item you are exchanging has a different value, we can discuss whether a refund or a further invoice is required, depending on the value of the pieces to be exchanged.

  • Once payment is sorted and the original piece returned and received and a new piece is made, I will post the new item to you .

Payment Options

You can pay via Visa (credit and debit cards), MasterCard (credit and debit cards), American Express, Paypal. A Debit card payment is preferred though not compulsory.
